Are you from NH? If not, how did you happen here? Share your story of where you live and how that came to be.

Not from NH :) Originally from CA but came to NH with my family when they purchased the Brick Store in Bath, NH in the early '90s. Devastated to leave CA at the time, but now having lived more than half of my life in NH, I am so thankful my parents made that decision. It has been tough to be away from all extended family, but the quality of life, its pace and the activity that NH living brings definitely make it feel like its the right place for me!

Have you always been in real estate? If not, how did you find real estate and what did you do before? Share your story of how your pre-real estate life skills provide benefits to your career today.

I am new to the real estate sales industry, but not new to real estate, in a sense ;) My interactions with real estate started at a young age when my parents, real estate enthusiasts themselves, started taking me to open houses in various neighborhoods with them. Going just for pleasure and to get an appreciation for different styles, architecture and decorating, I apparently really latched onto it as well because I have been interested in real estate ever since. Then, later on in my professional life, I joined the loan servicing team of a local bank and eventually moved over to become a Residential Closing Coordinator for that bank's residential lending department. It was that position that I really got to immerse myself back into real estate and learned so much during my time there. From the different types of residential loan programs and the different loan options within those, all of the steps of the residential loan process from start to finish as well as the contacts I have gained along the way, gives me a unique set of skills and tools to be able to offer my customers and clients while assisting them with selling or buying property.

That store I mentioned earlier that my parents bought? Well, my parents put me to work in the family business right from the start so I have been in some sort of customer service related industry since my pre-teens! I won't say how many but that's YEARS (even decades!) of customer service that I continue to bring in this new career I have for myself: a Realtor and sales agent for Sara Holland & Company :)
